I'm super excited to finally share with you all that I have been selected as an ambassador for Liv Cycling USA! Not only is it a national brand, but Liv is the first cycling brand completely dedicated to women. One of the best part of Liv is that they work really closely with the local retailers so I'll be partnering with my favorite local bike shop, CentriPEDAL Bikes here in Fremont, California to build a local women's cycling community.
What is a Liv Ambassador?
I'm not a professional cyclist! I started riding in 2013 with literally no one to explain anything to me except my husband who was also a novice. Over the years, I have gained a lot of experience just by error and trial i.e. falling off my bike, riding a lot with my kids and spending time on my bike alone. I still have a lot to learn and I hope through this program I can keep growing as a cyclist!
I bike to school with my kids, as a family we love mountain biking and road biking and I make sure I spend time alone or with other women to grow my abilities as a road cyclist and a mountain biker. I just love biking.
I have been leading some beginners women's rides already for Centripedal Bikes, but keep an eye out future events. I'll be hosting Liv cycling and non-cycling events in the Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall and of course all my rides/class can be bilingual because I speak Spanish. I'll be attending cycling industry events and learning as much as I can so I can share that information with the women in my cycling group. I'll be hosting women-focused beginner and intermediate rides in the local Tri-City Area (Fremont, Newark, Union City) both road and mountain biking. I have lots of ideas floating around for 2018, and I’m really excited to see them play out. To keep up on my local events please join the...
